In reply to your letter of the 2nd November,
I am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to inform you
that His Majesty's Government have no objection to
the proposed shipment of five thousand pounds
(sovereigns) from Hongkong to Amsterdam, per S.S.
"Novara", consigned to the etherlands Oversea Trust
provided that the latter have accepted consignment
before the shipment is made.
